This Cloud 9 "Nimbus" underlay is Ball and Young's premier budget priced underlay. It has a plentiful 7mm thickness made of PU Foam which offers excellent durability and adequate protection for carpets laid throughout the house.
As with all other Cloud 9 Underlays, this 7mm product is also backed by a stitched paper padding which ensures it retains it shape and flexibility without over stretching.
The Nimbus Cloud Nine can be placed in many locations throughout the home. It can withstand heavy domestic usage through to light wear areas but is not suitable for the bathroom.
Given there are 3 standards of Cloud 9 Underlay, consideration should be given to high usage areas of the home. Although this underlay is able to deal with this type of wear it may be prudent to consider purchasing one of the thicker foam underlays, either 9mm or 11mm.
